The XPLUS Series is a modular system
featuring generic 1RU and 2RU mounting frames into which
a wide variety of switcher modules can be installed.
Modules are available for SDI, AES/EBU, and analog video
and audio. Module sizes included are 16x16, 8x8, 4x4,
16x1, and 2x1. Expanded configurations of up to 256x1 are
available. Digital and analog, video and audio modules
can be installed in the same frame. Multiple frames can
be combined to build complex multi-level systems.
VSR-16X16
16x16 SDI Video Routing Switcher
The
VSR-16x16 module occupies 1RU in a standard 19-inch
(44.5mm) rack.In its default, fully populated
configuration, the VSR-16x16 module operatesas a single
16x16 digital video switch. Any 1 of the 16 input
channelsmay be routed to any or all of the 16 output
channels. It is also possible toconfigure and operate
the VSR-16x16 into multiple smaller matrices such as
dual 8x8s, quad 4x4s, or octal 2x1s. For more
information on the various configuration options, see
the section titled Selecting the Matrix Mode in
thischapter. Sub-populated versions of this board are
available to those customerswho require a 16x8 or an 8x8
matrix size.
